Stopping Stones Installation & Virtual Ceremony

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13TH

Ohavi Zedek Synagogue, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and Stopping Stones invite you to a virtual ceremony recognizing the lives of Lavinia Parker and her son Francis, who were enslaved in Burlington, VT from 1835-1841.
Stopping Stones is a historical and social reparations initiative created to recognize and remember the individuals enslaved in early America at the places they were held. A project of the Engagement Arts Fund, Stopping Stones encourages and helps organizations to engage citizens and groups in repairing the echoes of slavery that continue in their communities to this day.
