One of at least three persons enslaved by Elijah Williams, Town had an account at Elijah Williams’ store. He can be seen purchasing fishing line, shoe buckles, fabric and sewing items, and a mouth harp, among other items. He paid for his purchases with fox pelts, tobacco, and cash.
