Kedar

Stone Number: MA 27

A reference to Kedar appears in the 1729 inventory of Rev. John Williams, where they are appraised at £80 each, according to George Sheldon’s history of Deerfield, MA. Kedar and Mesheck, another man enslaved by Williams at his death, are listed in the inventory alongside a “one eyed horse,” a “weak backed cow,” and other stock.
